Managed retainer

The technical layer, handled every month.

Structured data, listing consistency and profile management are not a one-off project. They drift. This is the arrangement where someone keeps watching them so you do not have to.

Included

What the retainer covers.

Entity schema, written and maintainedOrganisation, services, service area, hours and credentials — validated on deployment and updated whenever your business changes.
Directory citationsSubmission and correction across the major local directories and the aggregators that feed them, then monitoring for drift.
Google Business ProfileCategories, service list, service area, attributes, hours and Q&A kept accurate and complete.
Duplicate suppressionOld and duplicate listings found and reported for removal, so there is one version of your business rather than four.
Monthly citation testingA fixed prompt set run through the major assistants, with the answers recorded so you can see the trend rather than a claim about it.
A report that says what happenedWhat was deployed, what was corrected, what was tested and what changed. If a month was quiet, it says that.
Sequence

How the first months run.

Directory data propagates slowly and engines re-crawl on their own schedule. Anyone promising results in a fortnight is guessing.

1

Week one

Baseline and fix

We audit what exists, write your entity schema, and deploy it. Listing corrections are submitted in the same week. You get the baseline document so every later report has something to compare against.

2

Weeks two to four

Syndication and profile work

Directory submissions propagate and get verified. Google Business Profile categories, services, service area and attributes are corrected. Duplicates are reported for removal.

3

Every month after

Monitor, correct, retest

Listings drift and engines change. We recheck consistency, update schema as your business changes, rerun the citation prompts, and send you the transcript alongside a note of what moved.

Plainly

What this will not do.

It will not make an assistant recommend you on demand. Nobody controls model output, and any firm that says otherwise is selling you something they cannot deliver.

It will not fix a business with no reviews, no photos and a phone nobody answers. Structured data makes you legible to machines; it does not make you the better choice.

It will not replace content, advertising or a competent web developer. It sits underneath all three and makes their work easier to find.

What it does do is remove the technical reasons an engine would skip you — so that when your name should come up, it can.

The standards this work is built on are public: Google’s structured data documentation and the Schema.org vocabulary. You are welcome to check our work against them.
